Your Individual Record Number (IRN):

The University of Phoenix issues Individual Record Number (IRN), which is a number between 5 (five) to 10 (ten) digits that are automatically generated by the UOPX system, on your admission to the University as a student or faculty member. Please do not utilize dashes or spaces while entering your IRN.

How to Recover my Username and Password for the University of Phoenix Ecampus Portal:

To recover your Username & Password for the University of Phoenix (UOPX) Ecampus Portal, follow through the below steps:

• On the Log In page, you will find the “Forgot my User Name and Password” link, tap on it.
• Now, on the next page, choose any one of the following options like I forgot my Username, or I forgot my Password, or I forgot my Username and Password.
• Again on the next page, put down the following information First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY), Social Security Number (SSN) (last 4-Digits), etc.
• Check on the box “I am not a Robot” and finish the CAPTCHA.
• Then choose the “Continue” button.
• After this step, if you want to retrieve the Username, you will receive the confirmation, and “Username” will be displayed on your screen.
• Next, you need to enter your new “Password” & confirm “New Password”.
• Lastly, tap on the “Finish” tab.

Please Note: If you are an international student, faculty member, new applicant, or do not have a Social Security Number (SSN), Date of Birth (DOB) on file, you will be required to navigate to https://my.phoenix.edu/apply to reset your Password by E-mail.

What are the complexity requirements, while creating a University of Phoenix (UOPX) User Name & Password on Application Center or the Student & Faculty Portal:

The complexity requirements for User Name are as follows:

• It should be between 6 (six) & 20 (twenty) alpha / numeric characters like Letters (A to Z) and Numbers (0 to 9).

You should not use the following in your User Name, such as:

• Your Social Security Number (SSN)
• Any kind of PIN (e.g. FSA ID, FAFSA PIN), etc
• All Numeric Numbers
• Any Symbols (like, ~!@#$%^&*_-+=`|\(){}[]:;”‘<>,?/), etc

Please Note: While considering your User Name, you must know that this will be utilized as a prefix for your University of Phoenix (UOPX) E-mail Address such as (johndoe1@email.phoenix.edu), which is easily visible by others & should be professional.

The following are the complexity requirements while Creating a Password on Student and Faculty Portal or the Application Center:

For Student and Faculty Portal:

The UOPX Student & Faculty Portal Password must have the following requirements:

• It should be between 8 (eight) and 16 (sixteen) characters
• Do not include your User Name
• UOPX Student & Faculty Portal Password, should not contain your First or Last Name

Must contain any 3 (three) out of the 4 (four) minimum requirements:

• Uppercase letter
• Lowercase letter
• Number
• Special character

For Application Centre:

The UOPX Application Centre Password must have the following criteria:

• It should be between 8 (eight) and 16 (sixteen) characters
